Our Story
Community Tracking Services grew out of our founder and CEO’s mission to provide cities and grant recipients with hard-to-find research data. Since 2008, Princess Jennings has used her talents as a data collector to contribute essential information for various programs.
After coming to Birmingham to attend the University of Alabama at Birmingham, Princess knew it would be home. For over a decade, she has worked for and in the community to improve the city.
In 2013, she took the most significant leap of her professional career and went from being an independent contractor to being a full-fledged business owner. Community Tracking Services was born. She knew there was an opportunity to take the headache of data collection away from organizations that needed the information but didn’t have the time.
In the beginning, Princess was a one-woman show going into local neighborhoods and working with the public to collect much-needed data. Over time, the business gained notoriety and became more and more in demand. Being a local, mobile business, Princess can take on the time-consuming work of gathering data from subjects all over the area.
Now, our team is growing swiftly to meet the needs of our community. Our goal is to continue to grow to meet the needs of the entire region. We love being involved in the city and knowing that what we’re doing makes a difference in the lives of many people.
As a testament to the hard work and dedication Princess has put in over the years, Birmingham Business Journal named her one of the Top 40 Under 40. You can read more about her and her journey Here.
